Welcome to Piccole Orme

Since 1997, Piccole Orme School has been a place where children can learn, grow, and develop under the care of experienced teachers. Located in a private facility with an outdoor playground and a garden, Piccole Orme is committed to the highest standards in early childhood education.

Piccole Orme operates as a social and educational service in Salerno, within a well-developed social context. Learning and teaching processes—based on sharing, caring, and discovery—are experienced by all participants (children aged 0–6, teachers, consultants, activity leaders, and parents) in a multifunctional and diverse environment. This environment is pedagogically integrated across the different age groups through specific annual projects and educational criteria that respect each child’s developmental stage.
Piccole Orme places great emphasis on the importance of play. Play reflects what a child has experienced in life, while also expressing how the child faces and interprets the world around them. It represents the beginning of a great game: the game of life.

Piccole Orme thus becomes the gateway through which each child enters society, separating for the first time from the family microcosm and becoming part of a broader community made up of peers who are both similar and different. The school is a society governed by shared rules, where adults serve as reliable role models and create an empathetic environment that fosters relationships based on trust, connection, and care.
